Background Information

From the bloated carcass of the Old Republic, an ambitious politician carved the Galactic Empire, a New Order of government meant to sweep away the injustices and inefficiencies of its predecessor. It is through fear that the Empire rules. Its power hungry lieutenants and technocrats developed greater and greater instruments of destruction to cow a rebellious populace. This philosophy culminated in the creation of the Death Star, a mobile space station with a prime weapon of unspeakable power. When fully charged, the Death Star's super laser has the ability to destroy a planet. More Info

Hero Units

        Darth Vader

Darth Vader, once known as Anakin Skywalker, is more machine than man. After he was grievously wounded in his fight with his former master, Obi-Wan, Darth Sidious rebuilt him using cybernetic implants. Darth Vader is the Emperor's most loyal servant, carrying out every order without question.

Ground Units

            Stormtrooper

Loyal servants to the Emperor, Stormtroopers are a mix of any remaining Clone Troopers and conscripts. Encased in their notable white armor, Stormtroopers are the bulk of the Empire's army. Obeying any order given, they are a fearsome sight on the battlefield.

        Sandtrooper

While Sandtrooper armor appears to be the same as Stormtrooper armor, they are very different. Sandtrooper armor has special systems to protect the wearer from intense heat.

        Scout Trooper

Scout Troopers wear a lightweight, flexible variant of the standard Stormtrooper armor. They often ride Imperial Speeder Bikes.

        All Terrain Armored Transport

The AT-AT is a four-legged transport/attack walker. The armor used by the AT-AT is virtually impervious to all conventional weaponry. Their sheer size is also their weakness. Tow cables can be used to trip them, rendering them useless and vunerable. Towering at about 15 meters high these fearsome walkers can crush almost anything opposing them.

        All Terrain Scout Transport

The AT-ST is a two-legged transport/attack walker. Though not as imposing as its cousin the AT-AT, it is still a force to be reckoned with. Though it can reach speeds in excess of 90 km/h on even terrain, it can easily become unbalanced and fall down on uneven terrain.

        All Terrain Anti-Aircraft

The AT-AA is a four-legged anti-aircraft walker. Armed with only a flak cannon, this walker is useless against ground based attacks.

        TX-130T Fighter Tank

The TX-130T Fighter Tank is an upgraded version of the TX-130S used by the old republic. Armed with a single top-mounted turreted laser cannon and two more swiveling cannons on each side of the cockpit.

        TIE Mauler

The TIE Mauler is basically a TIE Fighter with the solar panels replaced by tank treads. A pair of medium blaster cannons in the familiar chin mounts, and a retractable light turbolaser suspended below the cockpit ball provides the tank with considerable firepower. Preceded the TIE Crawler

        Y-85 Titan Dropship

This dropship truly deserves the name Titan. It is able to carry four AT-AT walkers and four AT-ST walkers at a time. Armed with two twin laser cannons for defense.

        Sentinel-class Landing Craft

While it resembles the Lambda-class Shuttle the Sentinel has a different use. Rather than transporting high-ranking officials, it is used to carry troops or supplies to the battlefield. Armed with eight laser cannons, two concussion missiles launchers, one ion cannon, two repeating blasters, and filled with up to 54 stormtroopers, it is a fearful sight to see.

Space Units

        User image
        Death Star

The Death Star is the Empire's greatest weapon, able to destroy an entire planet with one shot. The Death Star was built to show rebellious worlds that they had no chance against the mighty Empire and it's vast, powerful technology.

        Imperial Star Destroyer

The giant Imperial Star Destroyers are the descendant of the Old Republic Acclamator Star Destroyers. Though dwarfed by the Super Star Destroyer, the Imperial Star Destroyer can still incite terror within its enemies.

        Victory I-class Star Destroyer

Capable of atmospheric operations, the Victory I-class Star Destroyer can take troops both in out of the battle field, and hold its own in space battles. Its major disadvantage is its speed, not able to keep up with faster ships.

        User image
        Interdictor Cruiser

Don't be deceived by the size of this ship, as it can turn the tide of a battle. The four globes house gravity well projectors, keeping an enemy fleet from escaping in hyperspace. Because of the high cost of the Interdictor they are a rarity on the battlefield.

        Acclamator I-class Assault Ship

Originally used by the Old Republic for planetary assault, it is the predecessor to the current Star Destroyers. The Acclamator is mainly used by the Empire for military or slave transport, though it is still usefull in combat situations.

        User image
        TIE Fighter

The Twin Ion Engine Fighter is a cheap, mass-produced starfighter, which makes up the majority of the Imperial Fleet. Because they are so cheap both the ship and pilot are considered to be expendable. They are sent out in large swarms to overwhelm their opponents, and because of their overall weakness.

        User image
        TIE Bomber

The TIE Bomber is a modified version of the TIE Fighter. Because of its greater size the TIE Bomber is much less manueverable than the Fighter, forcing it to have a fighter escort at all times. The Bomber's second hull carries a universal warhead launcher capable of firing heavy rockets, orbital mines, proton torpedoes, proton bombs, space bombs, or thermal detonators.

        TIE Scout

Used by the Empire as a scout, this is the largest of all the TIE variants. Slow, lightly armed, and lightly armored, this TIE makes up for it with an impressive suite of CommScan equipment and the most capable hyperdrive of any TIE variant.
