Coding for EAW can be done in just about any text editing program. Notepad++ is an application that I and many other coders would reccomend not just for XML coding. Notepad ++ can handle many web programming languages as well as some languages i've never even heard about. I highly reccomend this for any coder.

Hell yes, what an app. Key features would be syntax highlighting for dozens of languages, element contraction, tabs, sessions, function list, macros, cross-tab search/replace, customisable... Essentially, its everything a serious coder needs, and simple enough for anyone to use. Must have.
